Do you provide insurance for my stored items?

Items stored in your LockBox Storage unit are covered by your personal insurance, you are required to contact your insurance company to advise them you have items in storage with us.

What are your access hours?
You can access your unit from 6.30am to 9.00pm 7 days a week.

What form of ID is required to complete a contract?
Two forms of ID are required to complete a contract, a driver’s licence OR current passport PLUS a proof of address.

What form of payment do you accept?
All payments are received by the client setting up an automatic payment through internet banking.  LockBox Storage does not accept any form of payment on-site.

Does LockBox Storage supply a padlock?
Our clients provide their own padlock; we recommend maximum security with a short D-Shank. The shank thickness should be a maximum of 8mm or less. To view our recommended padlocks click here

What notice period do you accept?
1 months’ notice is required to vacate.

What frequency of payments do you accept?
LockBox Storage accepts weekly and fortnightly payments.

Do you require a bond?
A $40 bond is required and is refunded when you vacate.

What is the minimum storage period?
Our minimum storage period is 4 weeks.

Are there any other fees charged?
LockBox Storage charges a $35 short term lease fee if leasing a unit for 4, 5 or 6 weeks. This does not apply if leasing a unit for 7 plus weeks.

Is there staff on-site?
Yes, we have staff on site Monday to Friday and on call over the weekends. We recommend phoning to arrange a viewing or to complete a contact.

Can I complete a contract on-line?
Yes, you are able to complete a contract online however if able, we recommend you view our units prior. Our manager will meet you onsite to finalise and accept the contract.
